About Me

Thanks for coming to visit my little blog! My name is September, I live in San Jose, California, but will always be a New Englander at heart.

My husband Steven and I have been married for over 25 years, and we have a son, Josh who will be 24 this year. We also have an amazing granddaughter, Ella who is just over a year old.

By day, I do Document Control and Technical Writing for a small/medium company here in San Jose.

I am also a member of Brave Girls Club. If you are a woman of any age, and want to receive support and inspiration, I highly recommend checking out Brave Girls Club (BGC). BGC was founded by Melody Ross and Kathy Wilkinson. It is an organization that strives to help women become independent and amazing. No other word for it. You will never regret your decision to become a part of the BGC tribe. Brave Girls Club offers a variety of self-improvement classes, through Certified Instructors and through Brave Girls University. I am a Certified Instructor for Soul Restoration, and am very happy to provide you with tools to help heal your past and look forward to a brighter future. Using the Soul Restoration curriculum, I can provide you with the tools to live a fuller, more beautiful life. If you are curious about Brave Girls Club, and find some online classes that you are curious about, use the coupon code septemberradecki and you can get a 30 day free trial! Stop back often. Now that I'm a Brave Girls Club Soul Restoration Certified Instructor, I will be adding more information on upcoming seminars and classes!!!  Come play with me!

When I'm not at work, you can find me doing DDP Yoga, creating art, or taking photographs.
  • DDP Yoga has become a really important part of my life. I started doing it in June of 2013, weighing well over 300 pounds. I did it with the thought "what if" because nothing else was helping me take off the weight. Well, what if turned into what next! I am losing weight, building muscle, and thrilled with my progress to date.
  • I am a budding artist. My Dad was an artist and started me drawing and painting when I was about 8. I actually also have drawings that my Mom saved from when I was 3 or so. I have also been embroidering and hand sewing since I was 4. At 8, I learned to use a sewing machine and made my first dress. I have won contests and made many of my own clothes since then. When I was 19, a very kind woman named Dorothea Jenner taught me how to quilt. I have been an avid quilter since then.
  • When I was 16, I took photography in high school. The rest is history! I am a semi-pro photographer, having sold photos and also been employed, during college, as a children's photographer. Someday, I'd like the opportunity to shoot a wedding, but for now, I mostly shoot landscapes and flowers. Photography takes me to a place where nothing else matters, except my next subject.
